We live in a separate section of the property with our own facilities and our Border Collie who takes us for long walks on the beach. You can look forward to a peaceful, relaxing stay away from the madding crowd.

Utopia in Palm Beach is your Beach home away from home and can accommodate 14 people. We are blessed to have a Power back-up in case of load shedding, as well as a Back-up water supply. Our Home is absolute food for the soul. It is a secret paradise in a forest setting with stunning ocean views. Wake up to beautiful sunrises, the sound of the ocean and tweeting birds; watch the breaking waves, dolphins and whales; take in the beautiful sunsets with your sundowners on the deck; gaze at the stars while listening to the palm beach melody courtesy of the frogs who live in our pond accompanied to the calming sound of the sea.

Neighborhood info

Our Hideaway is located in the little village of Palm Beach which lies on the extreme south coast of KwaZulu Natal, about 12 km north of Port Edward and The Wild Coast. A short 5 minute walk brings you to the beach. Proceed left to the Mpenjati River and cross over to one of the few South African Naturist Beaches, or swim in the ocean and estuary. Enjoy lovely walks following the Mpenjati Nature Hiking Trails. Walk to the right and discover high rocks which is a popular fishing spot and whale and dolphin look out point. The rock pools and High Rock Pub and Restaurant are also well recommended. Palm Beach is one of the best places for Wind-Surfing along the coast and is also a great place for surfing and kite surfing. If you are visiting the beach on the weekend you may want to stop in at the local arts and craft market where there is an array of goods on offer. .
