This beautiful old home belonged to the former postmaster of Lydenburg. It has been lovingly restored and combines old world charm with modern conveniences. The property boasts the main house as well as a one bedroom cottage. The main house can be rented as a whole or each room can be rented separately. The shared areas of the main house include a lounge, a open plan lounge and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and scullery, 2 patios, one North facing(sunny) and one next to the fire pit used for BBQs. The main house offers 3 bedrooms, all with Wi-fi, TV, Tea and Coffee facilities, a fridge and desk. The Luxury Blue room including an en suite bathroom with bath and shower The Delux Green Room with en suite bathroom with bath, and The Protea Room with en suite bathroom with shower. There is undercover and open onsite parking available. The Postmaster's Cottage is a single room cottage with en-suite bathroom(shower, basin and toilet) with an open plan kitchen and living area, with it's own entrance and parking area separate from the main house. Both the main house and cottage are serviced daily from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, except by arrangement. Meals, including breakfast, a packed breakfast/lunch, and dinner can be served by prior arrangement at extra cost. The cottage has a washing machine, and laundry services are also available.

This is the old established area in Lydenburg, one block from the Lydenburg High School and within walking distance of restaurants, shops and banks. Lydenburg is very central to many tourist attractions, but this old home is also ideal for a team who are working away from home and need short to long term furnished and serviced rental accommodation. With meals by arrangement, this will be a home from home.
