Ollava Guest House is located in Glencairn in the Western Cape (Southern Peninsula) with a breathtaking view of Falsebay. Glencairn is located between Simonstown and Fishoek, and 45km from Cape Town. Accommodation is offered in 5 private rooms. No breakfast included. Each room has a private entrance, beds and an onsuite bathroom with a shower. Protea is the budget room with a double bed and has no view of the sea. Seagull is a budget room with no wifi and is on the ground floor with 2 beds, double and single. Parking is right infrond of the room. Falsebay with a double bed and sleeper couch has a balcony with a beautiful view. Whale and Penguin with king beds, balconies and amazing views are together in a separate area of the guest house and on top of the communal kitchen and dining room. All the rooms are equipped with a microwave, bar fridge and kettle with tea and coffee making facilities. Unfortunately, open fires such as braai fires are not allowed anywhere on the property. No smoking of vape or cigarettes are allowed. There is parking in front of the house which is not directly in the street. The parking area is not fenced. We do not accommodate children and pets. Whale and Penguin rooms offers accommodation for 2 guests each. The two bedrooms each have an extra long king size bed, 2 comfortable chairs and a wardrobe. The onsuite bathrooms have a toilet, basin and shower. Guests booking Whale or Penguin have access to a communal kitchenette and dining area with a single plate induction stove, toaster, steamer, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, air fryer and microwave. Guests can enjoy the balcony area with a sea view and comfortable outdoor seating. There is also a pool which is very cold and is actually intended for scuba courses. Popular restaurants are within walking distance from the guest house. There is a Shopping center 700m away. Activities in the area include scuba diving, fishing, swimming, penguins and Cape point.

The guesthouse is in Glencairn, a suburb of Simonstown and right infrond next to the ocean and the very busy Main road. It do quiet down during the night. Their is restuarants and a shopping mall within walking distance from the guesthouse. Simonstown is the closest city to the penguins at boulder beach and Cape point. Glencairn beach is within walking distance with a tidal pool and lovely sand beach. Often fishermen catching fish from the rocks infrond of the guesthouse.
