I have a hosting team that looks after my properties so guests can expect professional assistance, clean places and hotel quality linen. Central Cape Town has many historic and significant sights and buildings. The South African Parliament is very close by as is Companys Gardens. It's very busy during the work week. The Harri is also extremely central and in close proximity to top restaurants, sight seeing and activities. I recommend using Uber for daily travel in and around the City. If you would like to do some sight seeing suggest the Red Tourist Bus.
