A perfect stop-over on the way to the Kruger Park, or a weekend visit to the iconic Cullinan Diamond Mining town and a variety of hiking, adventure and cultural experiences. Come and enjoy the hospitality and tranquility, only 30 minutes outside Pretoria. Relax, watch the sunset over the Cullinan Dam and spend time at our beautiful pool, lapa and gardens. Fully Equipped Kitchen, pool entertainment area and ample space for 5, plus a baby bed. Breakfast is included in the price. We leave you a great selection of breakfast goodies to enjoy at your leisure. You will find fresh bread, butter, jam, eggs, yoghurt, cheese and fruit as well as cereal, rusks, coffee and teas, waiting for you. You will have a chocolate on your bed as a welcome gift. There is an 'Honesty Bar' at the pool with some beverages and wood for your 'Braai'. Please note: We have DOGS. They are very friendly dogs, that love to welcome our guests, and play a game of fetch, or two. We also have some chickens, ducks and a vegetable garden. The dogs are not allowed in the cottage. Housekeeping is happy to come in and tidy on every day of your stay. Please feel free to tell us what time you would like this service. The cottage is made for tranquility - it is not a party venue. Unfortunately we do not allow additional visitors, or parties. Only the checked-in guests are allowed on the property. For the safety of our guests and everyone on the property, we lock the gate at night and there is a curfew. HOWEVER, we are happy to make arrangements for guests who are attending weddings etc. who might need to come in later.

The iconic Cullinan Diamond mining town is filled with attractions, from quaint shops selling antiques and gifts, to art galleries, restaurants and other tourist attractions, such as Adventure Zone, hiking, the Cullinan Mine Tour and even the opportunity to buy a diamond! There are markets, coffee shops and festivals such as the Cullinan Wine Festival, the Culli-Protea Festival and the Beer Festival. Please note that while Cullinan is abuzz with activity on weekends, most of the restaurants are closed from Monday to Thursday evenings. Our mid-week guests are welcome to pre-arrange with us for dinner at an additional cost, but there are wonderful restaurants in Pretoria East, only about 25 minutes drive away. Fast Food restaurants such as KFC and Wimpy are available and in our neighbouring town, Rayton, there is a wonderful Road House, called Heydays, directly on the R515 next to the Engen Garage.
