Located in the Cradle of Humankind, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, Linquenda offers a unique range of accommodation all with a satellite TV. It has very spacious gardens with undercover entertainment areas and barbecue facilities. Linquenda Guest farm offers self-catering apartments and cabins, some are rustic with exposed brick or an open fireplace. Most of the units have a patio with barbecue facilities. Some of the many leisure activities available in the surrounding area include hiking, cycling and golf. Blair Atholl Golf Estate is less than 2 km from Linquenda. Free parking is available at the guest farm and an airport shuttle service is available upon request. Johannesburg is 50 minutes by car from the property. The Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve is less than a 15-minute drive away. Lanseria International Airport is 4.7 km away.

I was born and raised on Linquenda, together with my twin-sister and my elder sister, who both also live on the farm with their families. I am qualified Christian theologian with a passion for the environment and cosmology.

Linquenda Guest Farm is unique in the following ways. First, it is the oldest family owned farm in the area. We are literally the gateway into the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage site. Linquenda is where urban meets rural. The farm has been in the Nagel family for almost 80 years. Second, it is truly a family based business. Third, it is an active workable farm; we have horses, cattle, game, we plant feed and yes we have two old windmills. If you decide on Linquenda as your accommodation destination you choose a family based farm experience.
