Located 5 mi from the N1 highway, between Cape Town and Johannesburg, New Holme Nature Lodge provides access to the Karoo Gariep Conservancy. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. Solar Power - We function without interruptions of load shedding. Strong Wi-Fi throughout the lodge - Main areas as well as in the rooms. Located 8 km from the N1 highway, halfway between Cape Town and Johannesburg, New Holme Nature Lodge provides access to the Karoo Gariep Conservancy. Each of the air-conditioned rooms looks out onto the garden and has a kettle and ironing facilities. All contain rustic farm-style furniture. The tour desk at the Karoo Guest Farm can help guests access mountain bike trails, hippo sundowner drives, Shy 5-night drives, morning birding drives, khoisan etching walks, and honey harvesting from our own Bee project. The grounds include an outdoor pool, central dining room, honesty bar, and wine cellar. Ample space for children to play. The buffet restaurant serves breakfast and dinner. Dinners can be arranged on advance request (Set menu but we also cater to vegetarians, gluten-free, lactose intolerant, diabetes. Free parking is provided on-site under shady trees.

New Holme is situated in a proclaimed Nature reserve - The Karoo Gariep Nature Reserve and the area where New Holme operates is the Khoisan Karoo Conservancy. The Seekoei River runs through the property. We also have our own New Holme airstrip for private aircraft to land
