We are world renown for our stunning location on the slopes of Table Mountain overlooking the Hout Bay Valley, the cottages are positioned in a hidden glen beneath the cooling shade of indigenous trees. If tranquillity is your goal, if you are seeking a relaxing stay with fresh, invigorating mountain air, endless forest paths that wind through indigenous fynbos and that delivers unsurpassed exclusivity, you can breathe easily here… Each of our Mountain Cottages are unique and are superbly appointed self-catering units. Houtkapperspoort Mountain Cottages offers a variety of cottages for our guests to choose from, depending on your requirements and needs. We have a choice of One, Two- and Three-Bedroom cottages each with various number of beds. Smaller units will have a single bathroom, although most have two bathrooms. All of our cottages are fully equipped, to a very high standard, including TV’s with DSTV, air-conditioning (in most), underfloor heating, wood-burning fireplaces, ensuite bathrooms, luxurious linens and bedding and every unit has its own outdoor seating area with BBQ.
