Guest Room @ Joubert has been become very popular with international tourists (especially couples) requiring a stop-over in Piet Retief (now known as eMkhondo). Piet Retief is the perfect (almost halfway) stopover between visits to the Kruger National Park and Sodwana/St Lucia/Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Reserve, or a stopover between Johannesburg and the Kwazulu-Natal North Coast. We also frequently accommodate business visitors to Piet Retief, and couples attending weddings or other events in town. We only offer one room, on the same property as our family residence. The property is located in a central and safe area of Piet Retief, just two blocks from the N2 (main road through Piet Retief). The property highlights include: - a luxurious design and luxurious XL King bed and linen. - uncapped dedicated wifi; - a smart Samsung TV (Netflix, Youtube etc apps installed); - backup electricity and water (you will not be impacted by load shedding or water outages); - very safe and central, with parking right next to your room; - close to restaurants and supermarkets; We are always available to help with any requests, but respect our guests privacy.

We are located in town, only two blocks from the N2, but just far enough from the main road to avoid the noise of the traffic through town. Only 2-3 blocks from restaurants offering breakfast/lunch/dinner options and within 2km of the N2 Woodhull Retail Centre. Walking distance from Mama Mia restaurant, a Piet Retief favorite. Attending functions or visiting friends of family, the property is close to Piet Retief Primary School, Piet Retief High School, Welverdiend Wedding Venue, Huis Immergroen etc. If you have a loved one in the old age home, Huis Immergroen, we are just one block away.
