With mountain views, Bo La Motte Farm Cottages are set on a historic wine farm in Franschhoek. The Huguenot Monument and Museum is just a short drive away. The cottages at Bo La Motte feature feature a fully equipped kitchen, a private outdoor area with a barbecue facilities, a wood-burning stove and electric blankets for cooler months. Impormasyon ng company

Maarten and Jennie bought the farm in 2002 and have spent the last 15 years renovating with the aim to keep the character of the farm as original as possible. Since the start we have re-introduced vines, rebuilt the historic wine cellar and fully renovated the farm buildings. Our position in the valley meant that we were unable to go Organic but we have kept all our farming as natural as possible in the hope for the return of the bats, frogs and small animals. Our latest project is to re-introduce as much indigenous plant life as possible to replace the aliens that we are removing. The song of the late night frogs and owls lay testament to our aim being achieved.

One of Franschhoeks' oldest wine farms with beautiful self-catering cottages all in unique settings. The cottages all have an individual character but the same high quality furnishings and fittings - our aim to provide a home from home environment. Spend the summer days around the farm, sitting by the dams fishing or just enjoying the scenery and watching the farm work. The cool winter days and evenings can be enjoyed tucked up in the cottages with a roaring fire and a glass of one the great Franschhoek wines. We do have dogs on the farm. They are all very friendly and guests are welcome to come and meet them. They are always very eager and happy to take you on a guided tour of the farm.
