Situated on the pristine La Mercy coastline overlooking a secluded beach, this apartment offers you a luxurious beach escape. Enjoy breathtaking sunrises and watch the dolphins frolicking in the warm Indian Ocean from your own private terrace. This stylish apartment comprises two bedrooms (1 queen bed & 1 double bed) 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and living room leading out onto an open front balcony looking out to sea. There are two secure parking bays and the apartment has unlimited free Wi-Fi, DSTV and Netflix for guest enjoyment. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MASTER BEDROOM BATHROOM IS SITUATED WITHIN THE BEDEOOM ITSELF. THERE IS NO DOOR BETWEEN THE BEDROOM AND THE TOILET, BASIN AND SHOWER. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH THIS BEDROOM / BATHROOM CONFIGURATION BEFORE MAKING YOUR RESERVATION. Being a mere 10 minute drive from King Shaka International Airport, trendy Umhlanga, Ballito, Umdloti Beach and Sibaya Casino & Entertainment Kingdom, there are a host of restaurants and activities right on your doorstep. Ideal if you are visiting on business or traveling through KwaZulu-Natal via the airport.

Neighborhood info

La Mercy is a charming seaside village steeped in the colourful Indian culture and history. Hemmed between lush sugar cane fields and the endless Indian Ocean, the Village is situated on the Dolphin Coast between Umhlanga and Ballito, approximately 25 kilometres north of Durban, home to the busiest harbour in Africa. La Mercy overlooks the Indian Ocean and extends northwards from the Umdloti River along the shoreline. This beautiful section of sandy beach has a shallow intertidal zone where the low tides form a myriad of rocky inshore pools. The coastal waters are rich in marine life providing endless shore fishing opportunities and great offshore ski boat and paddle ski fishing. Walking along the beach you will almost always be entertained by spectacles of dolphins playing in the surf and the whales breaching in season. For the more active take a fat bike and ride the endless beaches north to Ballito or south to Durban. The river mouth opens to the sea when the rains come and in between forms a wide deep lagoon ideal for stand up paddle boarding, canoeing and kitesurfing.
