This lovely 1920’s Victorian home, perfectly located in the well-known jacaranda Oak Avenue, highlights the history of mine captains over the past 100 years. With picturesque sceneries from the properties elegant architecture, you will be welcomed to three beautifully decorated BnB or Self-Catering units. Combining old world Victorian charm with modern uniqueness, 117 on Oak offers three beautifully decorated units, one of which a fully self-catering with braai area, and two BnB units, of which one includes a braai area. No unit is the same but offer all the modern conveniences and necessities that you as our guest may need. Here you will be able to relax in the oasis of peace and tranquility after a day filled with adventure!

Left in a state of disrepair and to bring it back to its magnificent glory, we bought and started renovating the house in November 2018, and still continue to do so... 117 on Oak grew out of dream for entertaining and travelling the world and we officially opened our doors on 1 July 2019 as a family run business. Together with the love and passion for preserving and sharing the old, we will continue to nurture and grow this spectacular piece of history.

Closer than this you will not be able to get, “you cannot stay in the museum but you can stay at 117 on Oak.” Within walking distance to all the local tourist attractions, quaint little shops and restaurants. There is no need to drive as you can just take a stroll down Oak avenue to explore all the hidden gems Cullinan has to offer!
