The apartment lies at the foot of Tablemountain and offers wonderful views of this iconic mountain and of nearby Lions Head. It is in a suburb within walking distance of town , lively Bree or Long street and the wellknown Green Market Square, a tourist haven for all things Africana.. The apartment is light and sunny with 3 great restaurants, 2 minutes walk down the road . If you want to cook a small meal, there is a 2 plate smeg stove and of course a microwave , kettle and toaster. The modern and new kitchenette has really all you would need, but we are always at hand to help out if something extra is required or just for friendly advice. The lovely bedroom comes with a very comfortable queensize bed and has frenchdoors opening to the small terrace with great city views. There you can enjoy early morning coffee or a cold sundowner. The garden area offers loungers for suntanning. In the lounge there is a flatscreen T.V. with You tube and Netflix connection. Wifi is free and unlimited fibre. I grew up in the southern part of Germany, but have lived in Africa for 40 years; my profession is hotel managment and my husband , who was born in Zimbabwe, is an artist. We have two children, girls, who live abroad. We now sell art in the city, displaying approximately 15 different artists.

There are many restaurants and bars close by, but the nearest would be Woodlands, Con Brio and Deerpark Cafe, which has an adjoining playpark, useful if you travel with smaller childern. As we are at the foot of Table Mountain, there are various hiking trails going up from here , but as the highway is 5 min to get out of the city, you have many easy options to explore. The famous Clifton and Camps Bay beaches are just 15 minutes drive , which makes " Mount Views " an ideal location.
