We stayed for 5 nights as our son was coming over from bali with his family. Otherwise we would have probably moved after 3 nights to hoi an. Instead we visited hoi an for the day. Definitely have a trip to sunworld. Make sure you have more than one go on the alpine run while you're there!

The weather in early January was mostly cloudy, few days of sun and rain. Da nang as a beach city offers numerous tourist activities from indoor water park to monkey mountain and the marble mountain.
Using Grab app, it was very easy to travel around the city.
We enjoyed the vin pearl park, My Khe beach and hiking around the monkey mountain.
Again, Da nang offers numerous fan places to eat and drink, from european style pubs to easy outdoor style bars.

I spent three nights at Da Nang city. 2 full days were spent on going to tours to Ba Na Hills and then to Hue. I have half a day exploring the town and then the 2 evenings after coming back from the tours. Would have like another day exploring the beach areas and other markets. I like the food and MOC seafood restaurant recommended by the grab driver. Walking and using grab was easy.

We could have stayed much longer in DaNang. We only had 2 1/2 days and it was no where near enough. We jammed in what we could but it would have been nicer to be able to spread out our activities and enjoyed more "down" days at the beautiful beaches. We were a family of 7 adults so our hotel arranged a private 15 seater to take us around for a day which was perfect. Marble mountain was bit rushed for us so allow a good 3 hours + to explore.
Lady Buddha/monkey mountain were fabulous to wander around and quite close and easy to get to.
Day trip to Ba Na Hills was a great day out but VERY touristy so be prepared even in mediocre weather for lots of people!!
The cafe's that line the beaches are fabulous and great to just people watch.
Dragon bridge was a quirky little treat that would be awesome if you have smaller kids. The night market across the road was great.

5 start hotel in best beachfront location. Excellent staff, very professional and ready to assist at every moment. The meals and beverages were first class with a very personable Food & Beverage manager that made our stay particularly special. Our ocean view room was spotless with an uninterrupted ocean view and quiet air conditioning. The massage at the Spa was superb and better than most we’ve experienced anywhere.
Finally the roof top pool. WOW! The best view in Da nang. Great ambiance and again, awesome wait staff!
The hotel room was exactly as how it was pictured. Very clean and fresh. The view was amazing and conveniently located across the beach and close to several restaurants and 24/7 marts. The host was amazing and provided amazing customer service. We needed toilet paper quite late and the host had organised that for us also. Always ensured our needs were met with ammenities and room cleaning when needed. The room also had a washing machine and dryer which was handy. Would recommend this stay to anyone visiting Da Nang.
What a little gem of a hotel/apartment in Da Nang, fantastic staff - best in Vietnam. Super clean, nice breakfast ,short stroll to beach(with a life guard), with a little gym/pool and sauna.
It is located a bit away from the action but a cheap grab or 20min stroll on the beach will get you there. Its nice and quiet at night so great for sleeping.We will be back.😊
