Get Away from it All! The Whispering Pines Cabin Retreat in Murphy, North Carolina is the perfect mountain escape for the entire family or for a romantic couple to get away. This newer, well-appointed cabin includes a gas fireplace topped with a 65" TV, stainless appliances and fully equipped kitchen. Bedding includes a king bed in bedroom #1 with access to the screened-in porch through separate French doors. A "Double-Down/Twin-Up" bunk bed is in the second bedroom to accommodate adults and kiddies alike. You will enjoy Highspeed WiFi, Smart TV's for streaming your favorite apps, 3-burner gas grill, Board Games, an additional Blow up Mattress. Fire pit with 4 Adirondack chairs. We even include some firewood to get you started! Whispering Pines retreat is close to many activities including Harrah's Cherokee Casino Resort, Nantahala White Water Rafting, Lake Hiawassee Boating and Swimming, Tubing, Hiking, Waterfalls, the Old Bavarian Town of Helen Georgia and much more. Upon arrival, your relaxation begins with easy access by way of a Smart-Lock set to your unique and personal 4-digit code. This same code can be used with the Simplisafe Security System. This allows you to set the alarm pad located near the front door when you are away or when you retire at night and deactivate it with your lock code. Motion-sensitive exterior lighting and security cameras also keep you safe around the clock…but these are only a formality because the neighborhood is wonderful. *NOTE - To insure your privacy, all cameras are outside and mounted in such a way as to capture only exterior areas such as the front door, driveway, back porch and backyard/fire pit area.

Many people love to browse through shops while they are on vacation, and downtown Murphy has plenty of unique shops with eclectic gifts! You’ll find boutiques with the latest fashion, antique stores filled with treasures, and stores with amazing food and cool gifts. On the way to Whispering Pines, just off of Caney Creek Road, you will find a quaint little shop called 'New Old Stuff'... You will love browsing their unique gifts and antiques. Or, if you are here to see visit with the natural beauty of The Great Smoky Mountains there is plenty of opportunity to go on a hike!
