With the elevation comes slightly more rain during the rainy season and an influx in coqui frogs. Please be aware that we have no control over the natural critters that exist in our tropical climate & we cannot control Mother Nature! We make a point to create a quiet and serene environment for our guests and we expect our guests to do the same. Cancellation & Refund Policy: We do not provide refunds to guests who chose to leave the property early. If your stay is cut short, you are responsible for the nights you booked. We live on-site and we love talking story with guests and sharing our knowledge of the island. We have a 50 pound dog that live on property as well. He love greeting guests and will take kindly to you if you make him do tricks! We live a quiet life of gardening, beach days, and hiking. (PS. Quiet, family neighbourhood nestled between Kailua-Kona and Holualoa. Home is located at the top of a very steep hill. Ideally, guests would have a rental car to get around. - 10 minute drive to Safeway, restaurants, & snorkel beaches - 25 minutes from airport - 20 minutes from Costco This in not a party neighborhood.
