Lively Downtown centers on Temple Square, with its soaring, castle-like Salt Lake Temple and the Mormon Tabernacle, an auditorium known as the home of the renowned Tabernacle Choir. The area has plentiful farm-to-table restaurants and global eateries, wine bars and Irish pubs. The open-air City Creek Center mall has upscale shops while ballet, opera and Broadway shows are staged at the Capitol Theatre. The Convention center and Delta center are also less than a mile.
