We love hosting & welcoming guests to the farm for relaxation, farm tours, and seasonal activities. We enjoy caring for our animals, reading, gardening, and hiking at the Delaware Water Gap nearby and on our trails through our property. Please feel free to ask for anything to make your stay comfortable and special for occasions. Guests can enjoy complete privacy or join us for animal feedings and learn about animal care. Children are to be accompanied by an adult at all farm activities, and for safety please do not approach animals outside of farm tours. Farm tours, and kids activities are available by appointment; including duck, chicken, and bunny handling, feeding, care, learning about gardening in season, vermiculture, composting, animal tracking, foraging, picking mint and nettle to make sun tea in season, and collecting and handling eggs and chickens for the kids. Enter through winding Farmlands & Fields just off Rt. 80. Pass through the Sweet Moravian town of Hope, with Antiques and a museum. U-Pick Berry Farms, Markets, Land of Make Believe Water Park, Wolf Preserve, Horse Riding, and Alpaca Experience are nearby. River kayaking and canoeing are nearby with an outfitter. The cottage and the Farmhouse are on 80 acres of land with woodland trails and running brooks throughout the property that feed the 5-acre spring-fed lake. The property is remote, yet only minutes away from Rt. 80 and NYC, and very easy to access. There are neighboring farms and local markets for fresh local food. Our neighborly wildlife visits us day and night. Farmlands are Best Navigated by car and Parking is Plentiful. City guests may also arrive by bus nearby or the train to Hackettstown and Uber to the farm. We often offer help with shopping when we are out and are happy to accommodate guests in any way.
