A private bedroom with a plush queen sized bed, a private sitting room and a private bathroom await you! After you finish your day of exploring, relaxing awaits in our acre of woods. There is an array of fire pits available in various settings from lakeside to screened gazebo to a private corner of the yard to the convenient deck. We have private lakeside access with 2 kayaks available for your use as well as a dock perfect for jumping off for a nice swim and a nice sitting area to enjoy the cool lake breeze and sunset. Enjoy use of our shared kitchen and easy access to BBQ on our deck. Your private sitting area includes a sofa, a table for two, a Keurig coffee maker and a mini refrigerator with separate freezer.

We enjoy the great outdoors of Maine. We enjoy hiking, snow shoeing, antiquing and cooking. We enjoy traveling this great country and visiting our National Parks. We enjoy photography. We enjoy sharing meals with our friends. Stranger is just a word for an unmet friend. We enjoy watching the grandeur of sunrises and sunsets. We also have a small hypoallergenic dog, Boogee, on site as well.

We are more than just a place to rest your head. Start your Downeast Maine adventure here in our secluded home. We are located less than an hour from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Shopping and dining just 15 minutes away in downtown Ellsworth or historic Blue Hill. We are in a rural area. We have a small convenience store in our town just under 10 minutes away. Also, a delicious ice cream place just under 10 minutes away as well. It is about a 15 minute drive to Ellsworth or Blue Hill where shopping and dining is plentiful.
