Here, you can immerse yourself in nature and its diverse wildlife, such as black bears, foxes, and snakes. The forest boasts numerous hiking trails, each offering a unique experience throughout the year. You can witness the wonders of the forest in the spring, summer, fall, and winter, making it the perfect place to unwind and witness nature's constant evolution. In addition to the forest's natural beauty, there are several off-site attractions that you can explore, such as Nesto's General Store, which is only a 5-minute drive away. If you're in the mood for waterfalls, you can visit Bushkill Falls, or explore the Delaware River. The forest also features several trails and campsites within a 10-minute drive, while the Delaware National Park is only 10 minutes away. If skiing is your thing, Shawnee Mountain Ski area is only 20 minutes away. For your daily needs, you'll find the TurkeyHill gas station (open 24/7) within 15 minutes' drive, while Super FoodTown, Price Chopper, and CVS are only 20 minutes away. Walmart is just a 30-minute drive from the forest. If you're feeling lucky, Mount Airy Casino is 45 minutes away, or you can visit CamelBeach Waterpark or CamelBack Mountain, both only 45 minutes' drive away. Kindly note that you are in the Poconos, where bugs, mosquitos, spiders, snakes, raccoons, and/or cockroaches are common. To avoid encountering them inside the house, please ensure that you keep the door closed at all times.
