There’s simply no greater retreat than Casa Gretna. How can we so confidently say that? It’s simple… Curl up on the sofa next to the fireplace. Play a movie for the family or… Indulge your eyes on panoramic views of luscious forest visible everywhere through floor to ceiling windows. Feast your ears on songs of wild birds or the gentle swooshing of a lake breeze through the leaves. Watch the sun set into shades of orange and pink as you sip a crisp local wine on the wraparound porch.
We’re two brothers who love sharing the beauty and tranquility of Mt. Gretna with people looking to enjoy nature, relax, and play. We bought this house together after our father passed in November with an inheritance he left behind for us. Thank you for helping us honor his legacy and multiply his final blessing by staying with us. For the most part you can expect us to leave you to your own devices unless our presence is otherwise requested.
Mt Gretna is an extremely tight knit community, therefore neighbors look out for each other. You can expect to feel SAFE and welcomed. Please be conscious of your speed on the roads as people often walk their dogs, jog, or just walk enjoy the mountain air on foot. Lookout for a big red house on a hill with a plant pot on the side of the road that reads “402.” :-) Please note the maximum number of overnight cars you can bring with you is two. Please place the parking passes provided to you on the rearview mirror of your vehicle(s). Thank you!
