The Little Castle is a three-story, all-stone gate house designed by and built for architect Theophilus Chandler and completed in 1911. As such it is a one of a kind residence with Old World style. The Little Castle is furnished and decorated with fantasy, whimsy, artistry, and functional elegance in mind.
We like gardening on the grounds. Traveling. DIY projects. Attending concerts. Reading.
The neighborhood is quiet and spacious. Many trees and wooded areas though just a few miles from shops, stores, and colleges. Five minutes to train station. About 25 minutes to the airport depending on traffic. Philadelphia is 10 or so miles south east. Bryn Mawr, Villanova, Cabrini, Eastern, Rosemont, and Haverford are nearby as well as Valley Forge Military Academy and Valley Forge National Park. Many good restaurants and shoos in Wayne, Radnor, Ardmore, and Bryn Mawr. The King of Prussia Malls are about 12 minutes away. Chanticleer Gardens are less than that.
