This property is newly renovated with all new appliances, heating and cooling, furniture, beds and bedding. It is a very clean and nice home perfect for value seeking travelers who do not need luxury accommodations. It is a 5 min walk from the grocery store and there are 7 restaurants within a 10 min walk of our home. The entire home has 5 bedrooms 3 baths and 2 full kitchens for up to10 guests. The main house has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath and the Casita has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

We are from northern New England and have this home as a winter get away. The climate is very nice with lots of sun and low humidity. The nights get cold but the days are usually warm and sunny. Our children and grandchildren live in Utah so we are closer to family for part of the year and they enjoy adventures and exploring in the high desert and we can travel to the Salt Lake area to visit also.

Kanab is a small town with really friendly people and very little crime. Our neighborhood is nice with one family to the south, a vacant lot to the north and a Church building to the west that is rarely used. Our street is a side road that is not loud. There is food shopping across the street and many restaurants within a 10 min walk. Of course the attractions at Zion and Bryce National Park are an easy drive, Lake Powell and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon are also close by making Kanab the perfect place to stay for 4-5 days. There are many wonderful hikes and scenic areas that are very close by. Our favorites are Peek-A Boo Canyon and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and White Pocket.
