    The public beach is approx. 1 mile from the Iron Horse Inn. A short drive with ample parking near the beach, or you are welcome to take a complimentary shuttle that stops at the Iron Horse Inn every hour on the half hour.

    There is a complimentary shuttle available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, provided by the City of Granbury. The shuttle stops at the Iron Horse Inn, every hour on the half hour. One of the stops is right at the beach.

Throughout its history as a bed and breakfast the Iron Horse Inn has been featured in D Magazine, Southern Inns, Texas Highways, and numerous Fort Worth and Dallas newspaper articles. Lenny and Julie purchased the Iron Horse Inn August 2019.  After spending 30 years in Nursing, Julie wanted to fullfil her dream of owning a Bed and Breakfast.  After several years of searching, the Iron Horse Inn was what Julie and Lenny had been waiting for.   Lenny has 15 years military experience and still works full-time as an Engineer with Lockheed Martin.  Customer service has been a big part of both of their jobs, and do not want to meet your expectations, but exceed them in every way. The hosts strive to make the Iron Horse Inn "Where History Meets Hospitality".
