Kimberly Coats is the owner of Aubin Sky, LLC and is proud to represent women business owners in the hospitality industry. Kimberly has spent most of her life as a restaurant owner and later as a Business Development Manager for a large food distribution company. In 2009, she left the food service industry in Las Vegas and embarked on a decade of living in Rwanda and Kenya running nonprofits to advance the sport of cycling on the continent. In 2017, she returned to the US and although still continuing her work in Africa, she is building on her dream of a guest ranch in the wilds of southern Wyoming, near the Medicine Bow National Forest, offering a rejuvenating experience whether you’re a creative, explorer or adventure seeker. Kimberly has traveled and lived throughout the world and brings her conviction in the power of old-world hospitality. With a respect and deep understanding of the power of nature to heal, she welcomes all people seeking to switch off the demands of the outside world whether that be in peaceful contemplation through the arts, or in exploring the outdoors on two wheels or two feet. Aubin Sky aspires to create a place that reenergizes the body, soul and mind.

Property information

Aubin Sky operates the lodging at the YL Ranch. This gorgeous ranch sits on 600+ acres of pristine Wyoming high desert and borders the Medicine National Forest and BLM land along the Savery Creek. The Savery Creek runs through the ranch, stocked with several varieties of trout. There are five spaces available to rent on the ranch ranging from a large renovated barn loft to a 1972 Blue Bird Bus sitting along the banks of the Savery Creek. The spaces can handle families or are personal retreat spaces. The Barn Loft, Wince's Place and Jack's Cabin allow pets (a max of two in the Barn & Wince's, one in Jack's) with an additional per pet per stay fee. The YL Ranch is open year-round, with summer cycling, hiking, and winter cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Something for everyone! Looking for a longer stay to work remotely? The ranch has excellent DSL fiber optic internet, which can handle live streaming, virtual meetings, and anything else you might need to stay in contact with your office or business.

Neighbourhood information

The Little Snake River Valley is designated a conservation zone. It is home to a myriad of wildlife, with many running through the ranch including moose, elk, deer, bear, and cats. It is home to the Sandhill Cranes every summer and it sits on the bald and golden eagle corridor. Special does not even begin to describe the experience you will have at Aubin Sky.
