Enjoy your stay in a direct access garden level guest suite in a typical Brooklyn townhouse. Your space consists of a bedroom on the garden side with a double bed and your own small private bathroom. You have full use of the shared living room, kitchen and dining area. The living room is on the street side and has a smart TV. The bedroom is on the garden side and very quiet. Your bathroom is just across from the bedroom with a shower, a toilet and a small sink. We install AC units in the summer months. The kitchen has a full-size fridge, convection hotplates, a Breville smart countertop oven, a toaster, a kettle and various coffee makers. It has everything you need to make your own meals. There is a small table for dining near the window. Our house is on a busy corner but very quiet and peaceful inside. We are always around during your stay. We follow NYC laws which mandates sharing space, that means you have access to the entire unit but we accommodate the space so our guests feel that their privacy is respected in the guest suite. Children under 4 are more than welcome; we can provide a portable crib and high chair if needed. You will hear our children once in a while. We ask you to respect our home and not bring the party home. Smoking is not allowed on the premises. About the space: Your personal area is on the lower floor of the 2-floor unit we live in. You have your own entrance directly off the street and private use of the patio. We share the housing unit and retain access to the backyard.

We ae a French American family with 2 young children. We own the house and we enjoy hosting travelers from all around the world in our extra space when we don't have family staying with us.

The suite is conveniently located at the border of Greenpoint and Williamsburg just a block off McCarren Park. Lots of shopping, plenty of great food options, and only 20 mins away from Manhattan by train, citibike or ferry!
