Stunningly situated on a sand dune overlooking the gorgeous waters of Lake Michigan, this beautifully renovated beach cottage is a place to escape, unplug, and unwind. Bask in the peace and privacy afforded by five acres of land, as well as 200 feet of private beachfront just down the staircase. This lakefront home sits at the end of a quarter-mile-long driveway, in between the beloved beach towns of Manistee (five miles) and Onekama (eight miles). It's a location that gives you wonderful access to shopping, dining, boat rentals, annual festivals, the Arcadia Bluffs Golf Club (16 miles), and the summer and winter activities of Crystal Mountain Resort (27 miles). Other great attractions you can find nearby include Crystal Mountain Ski Resort, Portage Lake, Cross Country Ski Trails, and hiking trails. Make the most of the summer months in the home's fantastic outdoor spaces, including a large deck where you can relish in the breezes wafting off of the lake. Bring the two provided kayaks down to the water each morning and spend your days swimming from your private beach. The cottage itself dates back to 1964, but it has been thoughtfully and entirely renovated in 2023.
