We are a husband & wife pair who love meeting our guests from around the world as we host at this property, as well as at our sea-view home nearby. We also offer weeks in Maui or Cabo (Mexico) at our timeshare (feel free to ask about those rentals!). We look forward to hosting you and your family!

Charming Cottage hideaway in the NW Seattle neighborhood of Crown Hill, with easy access to all the best Seattle has to offer. Includes fully-fenced backyard. Recently constructed Casita in backyard is useful as a workspace or picnic area (unheated). Just 10 minutes from the lively Ballard neighborhood or Greenwood, just 15-20 minutes from Downtown Seattle. Close to Woodland Park Zoo, Golden Gardens Park, Shilshole Bay, Ballard Locks, and much more. The trailhead into Carkeek Park (which includes a beach) is just 1/2 mile away.

The peaceful location is within walking distance of grocery shopping & several restaurants, a short 5 minute ride from the Greenwood neighborhood with lots of restaurants and cafes. Just 10 minutes north of Ballard in Seattle's northwest corner, a hotspot for restaurants & bars, urban development, and Scandinavian heritage. Fremont is 10 minutes; Downtown Seattle is just a 20-min ride or drive away, where the Seattle Aquarium, Waterfront, Pike Place Market, Seattle Art Museum and more await. The University of Washington is also easily accessible by car or Metro (15-20 minutes). For those who want to explore the woods or beach, our cottage is just a half-mile walk to the Piper's Creek Trailhead South McAbee Entrance, part of the large, forested Carkeek Park and Piper's Creek watershed. The trail provides access to the entire park, which has a 3.2 mile loop trail through forest, wetland & apple orchard, with views and landscapes that change, culminating is access to Carkeek's expansive Puget Sound beach with views of the Olympic mountains and Bainbridge Island. Beautiful views can also be found at Golden Gardens Park near Shilshole Bay, which offers walking trails and picnic areas.
