Welcome to Bear Haven Cabin! Our 2600 sqft cabin is located in the heart of the award winning *Gold Star Certified* Big Bass Lake gated community in the Pocono Mountains. Our guests will enjoy three lakes of fishing (small engine boats allowed), indoor and outdoor heated pools, splash pad, play ground, recreation center, a park for hiking and beach. Winter activities include snow tubing, ice skating, and the sled hill within the community! Ski slopes and indoor water parks are ~20-30 mins It is required to complete and submit a Community rental gated application form 3 business days prior to your arrival. Please be careful when filling out your application because the HOA is very specific with their application rules. If the application is NOT fully completed (i.e. All fillable fields typed and signed by the primary Renter) AND returned by the Renter/Guest to the Host 3 business days prior to check-in there is an HOA violation fee of fifty dollars incurred up to and/or including cancellation of the reservation. If you have to change anything (adding additional guests, removing guests, change of dates etc.) after submitting the application, there is a change fee of fifty dollar PER APPLICATION CHANGE that the guest will be responsible for. ** Maximum of 12 renters/guests permitted to stay on the property as per the HOA. ** Extra Guest fee: After 10 guests, twenty-five dollars per person, per night As per the HOA, it is mandated that Only the Renters itemized on page 2 of the Big Bass Lake Community Association Rental Application Form will be admitted into the community, during the rental period stated on the application. Any changes to the names of Renters or reservation dates must be amended prior to the booked check-in date. If there are any changes to the rental/tenant group or reservation dates a Rental Change Form must be submitted before the rental check-in date and a fifty dollar change fee is applied for each rental change. No Exceptions Made.

The local amenities at Big Bass Lake adjust from season to season. As you would imagine, the ski bunny hill will not be running during the summer nor will the splash pad be open in February with 20 degree weather! If you have questions about which amenities are open, please let us know! Anyone presenting on the day of check-in whose names are not itemized on the rental application will NOT be granted access into the gated community and home. A refund will not be given in this circumstance, due to our cancellation policy.
