The Wing Cabin was the first unit we opened in 1999. The Gatehouse Cabin came next in 2001. The Cloud 9 Cabin and Heron Roost opened in 2008. Lynda and Paul, senior citizens, and their small staff strive for perfection and cleanliness. This is an award-winning property and highly sought after. Normally sold out for summer months in advance, it's a good idea to book early. A fire destroyed Lynda's first cabin, her residence that Paul also built, but by then, the first Angels Rest cabin, the Wing Cabin, was almost completed and ready to open. Lynda's dream morphed from her original plans, and she never dreamt she'd be gifted with someone as talented and versatile as Paul, so she's certain the heavens are smiling on everyone who visits this property. It is indeed a special place.

Angels Rest on Resurrection Bay is one of a kind, truly a boutique property. Envisioned by Lynda, she & husband Paul have built this property from bare land without electricity. Paul has created everything you see, including some random pieces of furniture! He also tends to all the flowers & gardens around the property & refills the hummingbird feeders. This property spans both sides of Beach Drive on Lowell Point, three miles south of Seward, Alaska. The waterfront cabins genuinely sit on the waterfront. The Heron Roost water-view 4-plex overlooks the waterfront & still has lovely views from all the rooms. We take our ROOM OCCUPANCY ratings very seriously & Alaska law requires all guests must register with our property. Please do not book with us if you have more than three people traveling. Our mini-suites (the Heron Loft and Wood Nest) can sleep three people. ALL our other units sleep just TWO guests in ONE queen bed. If you have not entered anyone extra in the shopping cart (?A ?C fields), DO NOT BOOK OUR PROPERTY. If you arrive at our property with extra people in your group, we will cancel your booking immediately with penalties and no refunds available.

Located on Lowell Point, a small peninsula 3 miles south of Seward, Alaska, we are outside any zoning requirements. Don't be surprised by the variety of properties you'll come across including a small farm and two campgrounds. This is a special place and an unusual setting. All vendors, shops, stores, places to eat, etc. are in town. Seasonally there may be a coffee shop nearby at the main campground and perhaps a small food truck. (Best not to count on these.)
