**About the House** Built in 1924, Bee’s Cottage was originally a small home situated in an orange grove. Over the years, the neighborhood grew and the home continued to change as rooms were added. Beatrice and Christian met in Washington, D.C. and fell in love. After a secret love affair they left to start their new life together. Over the years the couple added a French flare to the home. For 35 years, Beatrice and Christian lived happily in the home. Beatrice passed away and Christian decided it was time to return to France to be with his children. In 2023 the home was listed for sale. Your host Jordan saw the home and instantly fell in love. Christian showed her throughout the house. Jordan promised Christian she would honor the special touches that he and Beatrice placed in the home. Jordan’s childhood nickname was “Bee”. To continue to honor Beatrice, Jordan chose to name the home “Bee’s Cottage” to represent the past and current owners. Now it’s your turn to be a part of the story. Please help us honor the legacy that Christian and Beatrice have left. **About the Room** The front door is part of the home's history. The wooden door is original to the home, with the antique knocker added by Christian and Beatrice. Upon entering you'll come into a small entry with the door to your room on the left. The room is completely separate from the rest of the house! Bee's Cottage is set up as a studio apartment with it's own bed, living room area, kitchenette setup, bathroom, and closet. This is the perfect couples get away for a cozy stay. While the room is newly renovated, you'll fall in love with the historic character of the room. It's original hardwoods and beautiful shiplap ceilings are part of the charm. Decorated in the French Country cottage style with many of Christian and Beatrice's artwork, the room is cozy and relaxing. In the backyard you'll find what Christian referred to as his "jewel"...the 10 foot deep pool!
