Shimbwe Meadows Guest House is located in the small Kilimanjaro village Shimbwe. It is a rural and quiet place and will provide a true Tanzania experience for you. Amongst tourists it is not very well known (yet) and is therefore not as busy as other locations around Kilimanjaro - things go pole pole here (slowly, slowly). Our guesthouse is located about 40 min drive from Moshi town up the amazing Kilimanjaro. the road is surrounded by beautiful banana farms, rivers and valleys, and lots of smiling faces of our village people. From here you can also start hikes and tours in the Kilimanjaro area with our guides, or even book your safari or mountain climbing with us ( see Shimboni Africa Tours).
