Mango Bottom is a beautiful timber frame self contained detached home recently renovated with a dining room and second bedroom added. It is situated right in the heart of Castara on the hillside within the local community. You will experience the texture and vibrancy of village life first hand. The property is spread over two floors. At the front of the property is a covered gallery perfect for entertaining guests or just chilling in the hammock and watching the world go by. Inside is an open plan kitchen and dining room finished in natural wood with all new amenities, cooker, fridge, microwave, juicer and everything you need for knocking up a fantastic pot. The lower bedroom joins the spacious dinning room and also has its own external entrance. This room has a high ceiling with fan and stunning views of the rainforest hillside. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large bathroom with sink, hot and cold shower, eco toilet and a washing machine for guest use. Upstairs is the master bedroom set in the eaves of the roof, this is a light and breezy space with natural ventilation. It has its own private balcony with 180 degree stunning sea and sunset Views
My manager on Tobago, Ziggy Jackson will meet and greet you and be more than happy to answer any questions or queries during your stay or until you find your feet. He lives close by so help is always on hand.
The property is situated in a residential area of the village and my neighbours live close by. I have known them for 25years and we have all worked on building Mango Bottom together. We are all very excited to be welcoming guests in 2021 for the first time. My neighbour can provide a laundry service if required. There is washing machine installed at the property. We are happy to arrange your airport pickup and drop off service which we recommend as the the airport is a 45 minute drive. Timings of international flights mean its likely to be dark on arrival so using our local driver service is recommended. All areas of the village are easily reached on foot including the waterfall. Car hire is available in the village for should you wish to venture further and make an island tour. Buses run into Scarborough the capitol daily.
