The villa we stayed in is spacious and has a stunning sea views and a beautifully maintained outdoor area, complete with sunbeds and a large, regularly cleaned swimming pool.
The villa’s private beach is a perfect spot to relax, complemented by a delicious breakfast buffet and a restaurant with breathtaking beach views.
The standout feature of Z-Villa is its incredibly attentive and friendly staff. Manager Zeydan leads by example, greeting guests personally, sometimes even serving food, and always ensuring everyone is well taken care of. Their thoughtfulness shines, like when they prepared a breakfast package for our early checkout without us even asking.
The charming Turunç area, with its handcraft shops, homemade food, and scenic mountain views, makes the experience even more special. Highly recommended!

All food and drinks were inclusive so you didn't have to leave the hotel to eat. They have a gym and spa downstairs and also a hairdresser. We enjoyed a very relaxing Turkish bath with a massage. The sea view with mountains from our room was absolutely breathtaking! We also loved that it was right in front of the beach and they let you take beach towels from the hotel. The staff were very helpful in catering our every need. Such lovely people working at the hotel. At the beach you have sources for SO MUCH ACTIVITIES! Many water sports and boat trips to choose from. A wonderful spot in Içmeler. Also so many pubs clubs restaurants around you to choose from that come alive at night! The locals are wonderful people. Also the pool at the hotel was very big and isn't usually occupied due to guests preferring the beach.

The older part of the town has some decent restaurants and shopping. The new quarters to the west are tourist "industry" purely. To the west is a smaller place called Icmeler, which is more cosy and less expensive. Some of the better resorts can be found there. Marmaris bay is a lovely setting, but very noisy during the daytime, because of the many people killing their time with motorized activities.. If you may want to see real Turkey , visit the interior.

Love the green and blue hues of Marmaris, ease of commuting inside Marmaris and neaby placest, sea clean and not too cold. Downside a bit like Blackpool/Benidorm could do with more upscaleVenues and more local talent, maybe nicer dining options

Marmaris on the whole is a very lovely place to stay.
Marmaris on the whole is a very lovely place to stay. There is sufficient activities to keep families occupied all week. The two all inclusive hotels we used were of a good standard of food and entertainment, and if you enjoy shopping, this is the place for you!
What we found challenging was the prolific smoking inside and around public buildings, restaurants, shops and open spaces. Pedestrians are also not given priority on crossings. It was a gamble with crazy motorists and motorbikes using the lined crossing points.
Though minor, there were no standard pricing in retail stores selling the same items. You need to be savvy here, as you can visit 3 stores selling the same clothing items right next to each other and given 3 very different prices, i.e. pair of exact same model Lacoste eye glasses priced at 200, 600 and 1200 Turkish Liras.

great place for a holiday.
great place for a holiday. Warm waters and nice beach though public areas limited due to so many beachfront bars that have their own beach areas.
Food is generally good with the best places located around the marina away from the beachfront.

It's a working class British hang out.
It's a working class British hang out. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I would not go back. And we met all great Brits and had nice chats the whole time.
The beach is nice enough there but it gets old fast. Basically go to beach during the day, get overcharged for ordinary food at lunch, drinks in the evening, overcharged. Walk around and buy knockoff football and Gucci stuff at night, for good value after haggling in ten shops.
There are better towns in Turkey and far better ones in Greece, Spain and Italy, that are now cheaper.
I have been to Turkey 6 times on vacation. I like the country. But the economic crisis is real and standards have fallen. I would not go back there again for vacation until the ruling party can reverse the course.
Everything is more expensive and the quality has dropped way off. It is simply no longer a value in my opinion.
We were in Spain for two weeks before Turkey and in my opinion every aspect of Spain for tourists blows Turkey away, aside from maybe Spain's lack of Ancient Greek sites.
The main advantage Turkey had was price and now that advantage is gone.
One liter of orange juice in Madrid is 4 euro. One glass in Turkey is now 4 euro.
Spain> Greece> Italy> Cyprus>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Turkey
Or if you can afford the tickets...
Philippines> Thailand> Vietnam> Malaysia>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Turkey
Whoever has been running the country it seems is running it into the ground.
Everything from start to finish, the hotel was spotless, beds very comfortable, breakfast lovely, the staff just couldn’t do enough for you although not in an intrusive way, location also great. I have stayed in various 5 star hotels while holidaying in Marmaris but have to say they did not come close to the service I received at the Moni, If I visit Marmaris again, I really don’t think I’d stay anywhere else. Thank you for making my holiday most enjoyable Lynn Davidones xx
While the hotel itself is great, true 4 stars, clean with good location and great restaurant&bar staff it has some big minuses.
But first with the pluses:
1. Great location
2. Clean
3. Good All Inclusive and good food
4. Restaurant and Bar personnel are fabulous! They are like Bees, work non-stop
5. Modern Hotel
6. Shout out to the Restaurant manager who works side by side with the personnel and keeps everything tight and tidy.
We had quite an amazing room....huge with lounges, a large balcony, and with the best water views you could possibly want, looking out across the harbour. As it was our first time in Marmaris, it was a bit of a shock how super touristy it was, which meant many restaurants and shops. That said the eating was good. Our hotels Turkish Breakfast was huge and the staff eager to help you in anyway possible
Good location, near to the beach, about a 5-7 mins walk. You can walk to the main bazaar within 20 mins or catch a bus. Easy access to get to anywhere in marmaris. We went off season so was very quite. Hotel is very basic, stayed here for a week. Was out most of the times, so didn't really stay in the room. Basic buffet breakfast, facilties were OK. 2.5 star at the very best.
The hotel has a great location very close to the promenade of Marmaris and many bars and restaurants. Our room had a small balcony from which you could see the sea. The breakfast was simple but enough.
