I had one of my most memorable stays in recent months at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Efe, the manager, was incredibly friendly and helped me arrange ferries and taxis with ease. The front desk always had someone available, and the night receptionist, Ur, was both super friendly and hilariously entertaining.
Breakfast was a highlight of my mornings, thanks to two kind women who cheerfully prepared eggs or omelets to order. And then there was Uxel, the New Jersey man who was an absolute hoot! His energy, humor, and constant coffee refills brought such life to the mornings. The breakfast spread was fantastic, offering meats, cheeses, cereal, toast, eggs, pancakes, and more.
Even in the off-season, the quiet atmosphere was a bonus, making it easy to relax. The hotel’s location is perfect—a short walk to the beach and surrounded by charming shops, including one with authentic Turkish baklava and another offering delicious local food.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, but it was truly the people who made this stay unforgettable. I felt more welcomed here than anywhere else I’ve traveled. I’d return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it!

This city, though unfamiliar to some Turks, is popular among the English, who often stay on a dedicated street. Despite its moderate size, it offers a variety of experiences, from charming historic areas to lively nightlife options.

The older part of the town has some decent restaurants and shopping. The new quarters to the west are tourist "industry" purely. To the west is a smaller place called Icmeler, which is more cosy and less expensive. Some of the better resorts can be found there. Marmaris bay is a lovely setting, but very noisy during the daytime, because of the many people killing their time with motorized activities.. If you may want to see real Turkey , visit the interior.

Love the green and blue hues of Marmaris, ease of commuting inside Marmaris and neaby placest, sea clean and not too cold. Downside a bit like Blackpool/Benidorm could do with more upscaleVenues and more local talent, maybe nicer dining options

Marmaris on the whole is a very lovely place to stay.
Marmaris on the whole is a very lovely place to stay. There is sufficient activities to keep families occupied all week. The two all inclusive hotels we used were of a good standard of food and entertainment, and if you enjoy shopping, this is the place for you!
What we found challenging was the prolific smoking inside and around public buildings, restaurants, shops and open spaces. Pedestrians are also not given priority on crossings. It was a gamble with crazy motorists and motorbikes using the lined crossing points.
Though minor, there were no standard pricing in retail stores selling the same items. You need to be savvy here, as you can visit 3 stores selling the same clothing items right next to each other and given 3 very different prices, i.e. pair of exact same model Lacoste eye glasses priced at 200, 600 and 1200 Turkish Liras.

great place for a holiday.
great place for a holiday. Warm waters and nice beach though public areas limited due to so many beachfront bars that have their own beach areas.
Food is generally good with the best places located around the marina away from the beachfront.

Our stay in Oasis was even better than we expected. The hotel is renovated and everything is new and well designed. Wi fi works well so if you work it might be important information. What was the best about our stay it was the staff! They gave us a hand so many times! Everyone was very kind and helpful. Mr Ali, who works as receptionist, was the kindness person we have ever met in Turkey 🙏 We will be back for sure. Thank you very much for your hospitality!
I always choose accommodation which looks clean and modern and House of Marmaris did not disappoint. Although I did not eat at the hotel, the café at the entrance looked to offer nice food and the place seemed to be geared towards a healthy lifestyle with an onsite gym. All staff were friendly and I enjoyed being able to look out over the garden from my balcony. The location was perfect for my needs.
All inclusive service - the food and overall service was fantastic.
We had to change our room because we were across the street from a bar which played extremely loud music until 1 am. The hotel staff were so helpful and accommodating and made sure our rooms were changed.
The location is fantastic. Don't go for the all inclusive, the cocktails are ordinary at best. The food in the local restaurants is great so I'd recommend avoiding the all inclusive option and venturing out.
