Company information

As life leads you through many unplanned directions, I went from an average Joe to the US. Marine, to Electrical Engineer, and farming profession with a farm stay for interested guests. This is where I am and will be until I turn to ashes!

Property information

I purchased Tantai Farm in 2007 as my retirement plan. Trees were planted without much thought, until 2015 when I became familiar with Permaculture. Now, I want my farm to be a forest of food with places for people to learn about Permaculture and Natural Farming. In 2016, we started accepting farm volunteers to share our knowledge and create a place for ecotourists to enjoy their time with nature. In 2017, we started farm stay with a cafe, guesthouses, fish & Lotus Pond, and a swimming pool. As we struggle through the hard years, our future will be to build a learning center on-site with sleep facilities for local students and learners of alternative agriculture such as Permaculture, Organic, Natural Farming, Aquaponics as well as Hydroponic. Through sponsorship, we will provide classes and seminars at little or no cost to the attendants.

Neighbourhood information

Pak Chong is a gateway city to the rest of the Northeastern (Isarn) part of Thailand. It is home to one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites, Dong Phayayen-Khao Yai Forest Complex. Khao Yai Nation Park campsite is about 40 KM away from Tantai Farm. Pak Chong also hosts many venues for eco-conscious tourists who which to enjoy and leave nature as they found it.
