Shanti Lodge Phuket is not only a hotel but a lifestyle. We offer a casual relaxing environment with yoga sala, communal lounge area, restaurant and swimming pool dining area. We welcome all ages and nationalities. Our reception and Restaurant is open from 8 am to 9pm. These time are flexible to suit your travel times. We can arrange taxi to airport and most tours on the island including ferries to neighboring islands and locations. We can also arrange bike or car rentals. We are a family owned business in Thailand for over 25 years. If "feeling at home" and interacting with local and international travelers , when you travel is on your priority list then Shanti is a good place to be. Please note we do have lazy dogs and fat cats on the property, how ever they do not enter the guests rooms. (unless invited)
We are locate in Ao Chalong. In the foot hills of the Famous Big Buddha statue. Our surrounding areas are not so touristy with local food stalls and Thai road side restaurants all with in walking distance Two shopping centers with grocery stores and small retail shops are within 5 min walking. A fun food and clothes market is on Tuesdays and Thursday from 5pm to 8pm, at the Homepro 1km away. Public bus to Kata & Karon beach passes the house approx every 15 min from 8am to 4pm. Many of our guests like to take a walk up to the big Buddha, stopping to feed the elephants or have refreshments at the reggae bar on the way
