Baan Farang Homestay is located on the outskirts of Phra Saeng Village a rural Thai village in Surat Thani. We are a family-run business Michelle (Scottish) and Thai husband Jack. We run the homestay alone with no staff therefore it is a very personal family vibe Baan Farang Homestay is situated on a rubber plantation. The garden surrounds the outbuildings offering private seating for guests to enjoy outside relaxation. On-site we have a coffee shop and bar serving drinks until 8PM. A large outside dining area and BBQ is available for guests to use to cook their own BBQ dishes or Take Away food. The accommodations are simple yet comfortable and cozy. We are a haven for birds feeding off our berries and fruits, therefore it's the perfect location for bird lovers. At night Fire Flies can be seen. We have the perfect location for those traveling by road between the Islands Koh Samui, Krabi Islands, and Phuket.

Our mission is to offer low-budget accommodation with comfort and home from home feel for those exploring Southern Thailand We enjoy interacting with our guests and taking them around our village to see local markets.

The surrounding area is made up of rubber and palm oil plantations. The street leading to Baan Farang Homestay is that of local Thai people living an authentic lifestyle.
