Our Guesthouse Alzbetka is ideally located in the popular area at ​​the foothills of the Tatras where visitors can pursue their dreams of skiing, cross-country skiing, hiking, fun in water parks/hot mineral springs and friendship. Not only you will have a fully equipped guesthouse (see the equipment list), but you can also enjoy an infrasauna and an outdoor wood-fired hot tub. There is a spacious fenced garden, a garden house, a grill, kids playgrounds, a trampoline, an interior fireplace Moreover, we issue discount cards Liptov Region Cards and Gopass cards for our guests upon request. A great advantage of Guesthouse Alzbetka is the peaceful environment that our guests seek for relaxation and privacy. It is a 10-minute drive to Štrba, 20 minutes to Štrbské Pleso, 23 minutes to Poprad, 26 minutes to Liptovský Mikuláš. You can also get to Važec by bus or train. If you wish to enjoy your holiday in a quiet environment which is at the same time close to well-known tourist and recreation centers, then our guesthouse is just for you.

Holidayhouse Alžbetka is situated in the village of Važec, in the district of Liptovský Mikuláš, near Štrba. The well-preserved forests of the Low Tatras above the village of Važec will attract you for walks along forest paths, perfect for runners and cyclists, or even for mushroom picking. Above the village, there is the famous Važecká vyhliadka viewpoint with seating and a beautiful view of the panorama of the Tatras. The village is proud for the Važecká Cave famous for the findings of cave bear bones, and the Museum of Folk Culture Važec. There is a restaurant in the village, a fast food store, ice cream and coffee store, six smaller groceries. Nearby there is a bicycle rental and also e-bikes rentals (Štrbské Pleso, Podbanské, Kráľova Lehota). In the vicinity you can go hiking in the Low, High and Western Tatras. You can take pleasant walks around Štrbské pleso, Popradské pleso, hike Kriváň, Rysy, Predné Solisko, Skok Waterfall, Mlynická and Furkotská valley, just to name the nearest of the destinations. In winter you can enjoy great skiing and cross country skiing in Štrbské Pleso, Tatranská Lomnica, Jasná, Snowpark Lučivná, Lopušná dolina and other local resorts. From the local roads, there are beautiful views of the fields, changing colours according to the seasons in the background of which the Tatra peaks rise. From these places, you can enjoy calmness of the nature and the views of the Tatras in the palm of your hand, not far away from the crowded tourist resorts.
