Prenočišča Miklavčič has been opened since july 2018. Owner of Prenočišča Miklavčič has worked in family restaurant since younger age. Decision to buy and renovate military apartment building was given on one of his trip, where he slept in a similar building.

Here local people get together and socialize. Gostilna Miklavčič is a traditional Slovenian restaurant with continuous long-running family tradition in Bloke since 1937. Recently we expanded restaurant offer with accommodations. We furnished five double rooms and apartment with one double room. You can spend an active vacation in plateau Bloke. You can go on a Krpan’s walkway, bike, cross-country skiing or take a day trips in surrounding area.

Location is a great starting point for one day trips in direction of Cerkinca (lake Cerknica, mount Slivnica, Rakov Škocjan, Planinsko polje), Loška valley (Križna cave, Snežnik castel, mountain Snežnik), Ribnica (Nova Štifta, Ribnica castel, Škrabec homestead, Kadice ravine), Velike Lašče (Trubar homestead, Turjak castel, mount Kurešček, Rakitna). In all directions is about 20 minutes of drive. Day trip on Bloke plateau: lake Bloke, Iška ravine, sculpture of Martin Krpan in Sveta Trojica, wire sculpture of ox in Zavrh, Roman wall in Benete,old wells, stream Bloščica with sinkholes, brige Napoleon.
