Holiday home Melisa is a tiny house with a large terrace. Melisa is a Slovenian word for lemon balm and we wish that our guests would have a calm and relaxed stay at our holiday home Melisa. The house is located in a very quiet part of the small town Mozirje, in the Upper Savinjska Valley, Slovenia. It has a spacious private parking next to the house. You can also spend time on the terrace, where there is a table with chairs. It is perfect for having lunch in summer and enjoying beautiful sunsets. You can also enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains, where the Golte ski resort is located. You can also relax by reading - find something interesting in a small library of books for adults and children in various languages. There is a large lawn in front of the house where you or your children can play various games. You can find a football ball and badminton in a box on a terrace. There is also a herb garden next to the meadow. You can pick some flowers and make a bouquet, or some herbs like lemon balm, mint, lemon beebrush, safflower, common sage, etc. to make fresh tea. You can grill on a fireplace next to the house or climb on the climbing located on the southern wall of the house. Our Melisa holiday home has air conditioning that cools or heats. All rooms are heated with underfloor heating. The house has two separate bedrooms, a common dining room, and a living room with a flat-screen satellite TV. A fully equipped kitchen has a refrigerator and a small freezer. In addition to dishes and an induction hob, the kitchen also has an oven. The bathroom has a shower cabin and an infrared sauna. Towels and bed linen will be waiting for you in the house.

We are a family of four - parents Katarina and Roman and sons Filip and Oton. We will be more than happy to welcome you to our holiday home Melisa. About 500 meters from the house there are various playgrounds: children's playground, skate park, basketball court. There is a restaurant next to the playgrounds. You can find two more bars/restaurants a bit further, on the way to the beautiful flower park Mozirski gaj. If you enjoy high-end gastronomy, you should go to the center of Mozirje (15 minutes walk from Melisa) to the restaurant Lesnika. We promise you won't regret it. In the area around Mozirje, you can enjoy various sports and activities, such as hiking, cycling, (trail) running, fishing, skiing (you can see the skiing center Golte from Melisa's terrace), and guided forest therapy walks. If you are a Christian there is a holy mass every day in Mozirje. Mozirje is 15 minutes drive away from the highway. It takes a 1-hour drive to Slovenia's capital Ljubljana or 1 hour to the second-largest city Maribor. We are less than a 1-hour drive away from the beautiful Logarska Valley. Did you know that Slovenia is so small and handy that it will take you only a 2-hour drive from Melisa and you will be at the seaside or in any of Slovenia's neighboring countries Austria, Hungary, Croatia, or Italy?
