In addition to the rental of the Honey Apartment to guests/tourists, EKO podeželje wants to bring organic and locally grown crops and products closer to every customer in a simple, easy and affordable way. To educate and make the target audience aware of the benefits of organic and local food. Our goal is to encourage local production and thus increase food self-sufficiency in the home environment and throughout Slovenia. EKO podeželje has also developed the first mobile application in Slovenia, which brings together organic farms and provides immediate insight into the ECO offer of Slovenian organic producers. In 2022, EKO podeželje received a certificate confirming that the organization is one of the most reliable and trustworthy in Slovenia.

The castle houses the Gallery-Museum Lendava, which collects, preserves, studies and promotes the cultural heritage of the municipality of Lendava and the Pomurje Hungarians. Lake Bukovniško jezero and its surroundings, in addition to fishing, offer opportunities for rest, walks, camping, picnics and sports activities. In the embrace of elder trees in the immediate vicinity of the lake, the chapel of St. Vid stands tall, and next to it the spring of the same name murmurs with water, which has energy power and many healing effects.
