We are a tourist destination suitable for families, couples and elderly people who want to explore the unspoiled nature of Pohorje forests, by foot or bicycle. Our greatest joy is that we can provide unforgettable experience in nature for all visitors, in the winter and in the summer. Our visitors were so enthusiastic that they gave us a score of 9.4 for which we are very proud.

Return to nature and experience an active vacation on Ribniško Pohorje. In the basement on 200m2 there is a wellness area with hot tub, 4 different saunas (Finnish sauna, infra sauna, Turkish salt sauna and bio Finnish chrome sauna), and an ice cave. Wellness is available only for a fee (private reservation). We are only a few minutes walk from the ski resort and 20 minutes drive from the Radlje ob Dravi Water Park, which is the first biological pool in Slovenia! Cross-country skiing is possible on the Pohorje plains between Kope and Ribniška koča. Our accommodation is an excellent starting point for exploring and discovering the hidden corners of Ribniško Pohorje. You can discover more than 100 kilometers of marked and arranged hiking trails, go to Ribnica Lake or Lovrenc Lakes, or climb Kope. There are endless cycling routes marked, from Štrekna, one of the best-kept cycling routes, to underground cycling under Mount Peca. For exploring and feeling the calm village-peasant everyday life on Ribniško Pohorje, you can visit the Aunt Lena Farm, where Aunt Lena introduces you to the work of the Farm while socializing with animals.

Ribnica na Pohorju is a mountain village, which was mentioned for the first time in history in 1266. It stands as the last post on the way to unspoiled nature, which is protected by NATURA 2000. History of this unique village was tailored by locals who were working in forestry, livestock and glassware, and in winter they were hosting ski adventurers. Museums and collections of antiques tell the story of the past. You can also visit some of the cultural and natural sights. We recommend you to visit the farm Teta Lena, where you can taste homemade delicacies and at the same time try out the life on the farm from decades ago. Experience the local story of the forging tradition in Kovačija pri Kovaču or visit the museums of glass making, forestry and stonecutting in Josipdol. But in any case, you should not forget to explore the pure nature of Ribniško Pohorje and visit natural pearls such as Ribniško Jezero or find out other treasures that are hidden in the nature.
