Welcome to Villa Tjurpannan, a magically beautiful holiday property located between Grebbestad and Havstenssund in Sweden. The house has a spacious lawn for play and fun, and is located right by the Tjurpannan nature reserve. This idyllic house has three bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room combined, and a small attic living room. Outside are terrace areas to the east and west, and there is sun all day. Sweden's west coast is known to have many sunny days a year. Here it is easy to find peace, or seek adventure in beautiful nature or in the many cozy, small towns that this area of the Swedish coast has to offer. In the area there is also a golf course, athletics facilities, various ancient monuments and more. And it is simply great for kayaking and canoeing, for example in the skerries towards Sannäs.

We are a Norwegian family of five who bought this house in 2020. We love the outdoors, and have travelled along the west coast of Sweden through several years, and are familiar with this beautiful area. We have many hiking tips.

Tjurpannan nature reserve is known for offering raw and spectacular nature. A protective archipelago is missing here, and the sea is thrown towards the rocks when the wind picks up. It is beautiful in both storms and sunny days, with pebbles, boulders and a rich fauna. Swimming or fishing in Tjurpannan should only be done in good weather, but there are many other, sheltered bathing places in this area. The nearest large sandy beach is at a campsite nearby, but tiny, secluded places by the shore can also be found close by. Grebbestad is a seven-minutes drive away. There are several grocery stores, fish shops, a drugstore, cinema, interior design shops, clothing stores and a rich restaurant life. A few minutes further south, lies Tanumstrand with many activities in summer. Idyllic Havstenssund is located at the end of a half-hill, and is a quieter town with beaches, some restaurants and a small grocery store on the marina. A mini fish shop can also be found here. It's nice to just stroll around among the many whitewashed houses with well-kept gardens, or watch all the boats gliding past along the characteristic beach promenade.
