We rent out our beautiful guest house on idyllic and peaceful Kalvsund in Gothenburg's northern archipelago with bathrobe distance to a morning swim. We want to give you the opportunity to enjoy a few days by the sea, a getaway on our car-free island with the starry sky as a roof. Give yourselves an opportunity to take in the silence and relax on a stormy autumn or snowy winter weekend. Here you get the time to take care of yourself during a walk around the island or via the ferry to the other nearby islands and then curl up under a blanket with a glass of red wine and look out over the sea or read that book you've been wanting to read for so long. Have time to make that call you wished you had time to make or why not talk to your teenager or hug your partner or just have a few days alone in a beautiful place. We can be reached by bus from Gothenburg and two shorter ferries with a total travel time of one hour from town or by car and two ferries in approx. 40 min. There are two sleeping places of 140 cm each, one of which is a sofa bed and the other a loft with a view of the sea. The accommodation is wonderful for two, works fine for three and works for four if you are ok with a little less space. The guest house has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and washing machine, TV, and two patios with table and chairs and sun loungers. Sheets, towels and Wifi are included in the price. Everything in new condition just a stone's throw from the sea and it is an accommodation without pets. We have shower soap, shampoo, conditioner, hand cream and coffee and tea for you in the house.

A warm welcome to us who love to live our life by the sea here at Kalvsund! We want to give you a good treatment and have worked in the hotel and restaurant industry before and have created a place we would like to visit ourselves. We enjoy being at the sea, fishing, kayaking and cooking with good friends. We also work with quality and psychology, have a rather large, motley family and like to travel when the opportunity arises.

Kalvsund is a car-free island, but it is easy to get here by passenger ferry from Björkö. With the same ferry, you can just as easily get on to both Grötö, with its beautiful oaks and beaches, and Öckerö, from where the entire northern archipelago of Gothenburg opens up. In the south you will find e.g. Hönö Klåva with its restaurants and shopping in an idyllic archipelago environment and to the north you can easily get to the pearls of Rörö, Hyppeln and Källö Knippla by ferry. There are grocery stores on nearby Björkö and on Hönö there are both grocery stores and system companies. The archipelago here is relatively barren, beautiful, a little wild and absolutely wonderful to discover.
