We are a married couple living in the municipality, and we own this house as well as three others. Since we built our own cabin on the property in 2019 and discovered the joy of taking care of properties and ensuring guests have a great experience, we have developed Sweden Cabins. Welcome to The Nordby Cabin, a charming villa, carefully renovated in 2024 to offer a comfortable and homely atmosphere. Every detail has been thoughtfully selected, from flea market finds to modern conveniences, to create a unique and inviting environment. Traffic can be a bit disturbing when Nordby Shopping Center is open, as many visitors take this road on their way to Strömstad. Check-in: To make your stay as smooth as possible, you will receive detailed check-in instructions well in advance of your arrival. You can check in anytime after 3 PM on the day of arrival, and you don't need to wait for us—you can enter the house yourself. Cleaning: The house is designed to be easy to clean, and we have a robot vacuum cleaner to help you keep it tidy during your stay. We kindly ask that you clean up before leaving the house, so the next guests can enjoy a fresh and pleasant environment. Beds: On the upper floor, there are three tastefully decorated bedrooms with beautiful wooden floors and high-quality beds. You will find two double beds and two single beds, along with ample storage space for your personal belongings. Each room is designed to make you feel at home. TV and Wi-Fi: There are TVs both upstairs and downstairs with Chromecast, so you can watch your favorite programs. Of course, free Wi-Fi is available.

Here, you stay at the top of Bohuslän on the Swedish west coast. It's just a 10-minute drive from the Norwegian border and 3 kilometers from Nordby Shopping Center, so traffic below the house can be somewhat disturbing. Nordby is one of Sweden's largest shopping areas with over 110 shops and restaurants. Here, you'll find everything from fashion and electronics to Sweden's two largest grocery stores. For swimming enthusiasts, the sea and the picturesque beach Lökholmen are just a few kilometers away, and it's only a 15-minute drive to the charming coastal town of Strömstad. Nature lovers (and children) will appreciate the forest behind the villa, as right outside the door, there are woods and trails perfect for hiking and berry picking.
