Welcome in this house in summer and winter! Seeing foxes and deer from your living window, a shy moose in the vicinity, hiking and (mountain-)biking, sitting around the campfire in your very own garden, fishing, BBQ, picknicking at the nearby lakeside or reading a good book by one of the woodstoves. In this big house in Nyhyttan you can enjoy nature all year round, starting in your 1200m² backyard. Singing birds will wake you up, the night sky is crystal clear. At the edge of the forest and just next to a mildly chattering brook that runs alongside the garden, you find this extremely well maintained country home with 6 rooms. Access to the house is via a bitumen road and about 100 meters of gravel serving just 3 houses. The villa easily offers space for 6 people + 1 on a sofa bed, and a baby or two. All rooms have geothermal pump central heating and WIFI. All bedrooms can be completely darkened which is highly useful in midsummer nights. The borough is home to just under 200 people, young and not so young. In the immediate vicinity you will find splendid lakes and the opportunity for a swim for all ages, watersports, hiking, cycling and mountain biking and langlauf routes.

After your completed booking, you will receive an extensive folder to keep you entertained for weeks! Hiking, sightseeing, restaurants, events...! Come and enjoy this wonderful lake region! In the house itself you will find a folder with all imaginable maps and further information for you to use during your stay. At about 25 minutes driving is the picturesque town of Nora (renowned throughout Sweden for its beautiful wooden houses) and the slightly bigger Lindesberg. Both have excellent shops, sidewalk cafés, opportunities for relaxing, cultural and medical facilities. At a 50 minutes drive you find the regional centre of Örebro (about 150.000 inhabitants) with excellent shops and entertainment facilities. Nyhyttan is about 3 hours from Stockholm and 4.5 hours from Oslo.
