Situated within 21 km of Nyköping Train Station and 44 km of Kolmården Animal Park in Vrena, Lindeborgs Eco Retreat offers accommodation with seating area. With lake views, this accommodation features a patio and a swimming pool. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. At the farm stay, units are fitted with a desk. Units include a coffee machine and a private bathroom with a shower and a hair dryer, while selected rooms also boast a fully equipped kitchen fitted with a dishwasher. At the farm stay, all units have bed linen and towels. For those times when you'd rather not dine out, you can choose to cook on the barbecue. You can play table tennis at the farm stay, and the area is popular for hiking. The farm stay also comes with outdoor fireplace and a picnic area for a day out in the open. Welcome to Lindeborgs Organic Farm and Retreat! The farm is idyllically situated at the end of the road by beautiful lake Hallbosjön. With the forest in the back, and fields and pastures all around. It is located only 15 minutes from Stockholm Skavsta Airport in Nyköping, and 120 km (1 1/2 hours) from the capital of Stockholm. On the farm there are sheep, chickens and two cuddly cats. We also have two bee hives and produce our own honey. Visitors are welcome to interact with the animals, and enjoy walks around the grounds of the farm and the forest. During growing season you can buy fresh organic vegetables, eggs and honey from the farm. There is a sauna with view over the lake. Free of charge. On the farm there is the newly renovated highly qualitative barn stay in the Eco Barn. The Eco Barn is built with all pure natural and sustainable materials.
On the farm there are the family Lindeborg; Julia and Carl with their two children 7 & 9 years old. Julia is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher and organic beekeeper. Carl is a management consultant, besides working on the farm. There is also Alexander who is the farm gardener, and sometimes in the summer we have 1-2 volunteers from all around the world who come to help at the farm. We love to connect with and serve our guests, and we are happy to show you around the farm. Feel free to ask us questions, for instance about the farm, organic gardening or beekeeping.
On the farm you can enjoy forest walks. The forest is old, and opens up for all kinds of adventures. Go mushroom picking or look for animals and birds. You can see deer, hare, moose or boar. There is rich bird-and wildlife. There is a five minute drive to a sandy beach and swimming. The beach is perfect for children. The Baltic sea is 30 minute drive away. And there are some beautiful natures reserves around the town of Nyköping. The historic town of Nyköping, is 20 minutes drive from the farm. It is famous for its old castle, from which there is a nice walk along the river into town. Nyköping is set in the landscape Södermanland, with many old castles and manors. Providing interesting visits and great food. For families there is Kolmården, Scandinavias greatest wild life park, only 40 minute drive away. Julita Park and castle, also the home of Pettsson and his cat Findus is 50 minutes drive away. The walking trail Sörmlandsleden trail is 1000 kilometers long and many trails can be found nearby. The nearest food shop to the farm is 7 minutes drive away located in the small town of Stigtomta.
