Hej hej! (That's how we say 'hello' in Sweden) I’m Elsje from the Netherlands, and since 2019 I’ve been living in beautiful Sweden, fulfilling a dream I’ve had since I was a little girl. Scandinavia has always fascinated me, and after many vacations in Norway, Finland, and Sweden, I felt at home here right away. When life wasn’t going as I hoped, I stumbled upon a house for sale in Sweden. The idea stuck with me, and I decided to go for it. "If I don’t do it now, I might never do it," I thought. Thanks to the Swedish 'Allemansrätten' you have free access to forests, lakes and rivers, as long as you respect nature. This makes it an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts. You can walk, cycle, fish, or enjoy organized activities such as bear watching, guided hikes, canoeing, and visiting a moose farm or a husky farm.
