Several swimming and fishing opportunities nearby within a 10-15 minute walk. Only 800m to the beach Undersviksbadet with a fantastic view of Hälsingland's blue mountains. Restaurant will open in Stiftgården a couple of hundred meters from the house in 2023. Up to 8 people live and sleep here comfortably with the extra beds available. The sleeping places are distributed in: Bedroom 1: a double bed (2 beds). Bedroom 2: a bunk bed with a double bed underneath (3 beds) + 1 cot (150 cm) Bedroom 3: a single bed (1 bed) (+1 extra folding bed) +1 extra bed in the hall upstairs Spacious and easily accessible parking with room for several cars, motor home or caravan. By car, it takes 20 minutes to Järvsöbacken or Harsa cross-country skiing tracks. 12 min to Vallsta with grocery store, restaurant, pizzeria, petrol and train station. 10 min to the beach Orbaden also called "Hälsningland's Riviera" with Hotell Orbaden Spa & Resort and the adventure park Zip & Climb, where the local brewery Organic Smash is also located. With us you will enjoy warm summer evenings as well as snowy winter days.

We are a family with small children who are happy to lend our nice villa in scenic Undersvik so that guests from all over the world can have the opportunity to enjoy Hälsingland's unique and verdant nature and rolling blue hills. We like to go skiing, both alpine and cross-country skiing in nearby Järvsö and Harsa. In the summers, we swim in the river Ljusnan below the house or go hiking in the forest. Undersvik is peaceful and scenic little community which invites reflection, activity and outdoor life. Close to the river Ljusnan with a beach, forest and nice hiking trails with fantastic views. In winter, the river offers swimming, fishing, ice skating and skiing opportunities. Or why not just sit on the dock and look out over the rolling blue mountains. If you like culture and history, there is much to interest in Undersvik. For example, the Helgonleden - "Route of the Saints" - the pilgrimage route that goes all the way from Novogord in Russia to Trondheim in Norway via Uppsala passes right through Undersvik. So partly for this reason, there is a church ruin from the Middle Ages, the 13th century, down by the river and the cemetery. The newer church from the 1780s with a beautiful bell tower from the 1750s. The Stiftsgården, which was built in the middle of the 19th century, is now being renovated into a farm hotel & hostel with restaurant and events and will be opened in 2023. Feel free to visit our fine homestead from the 1830s, thrones in its place on Hans-Nils. All of this is located within 500m of your accommodation with us. Here you can get around easily by foot, bicycle, bus or car.
